Rolling Road Day
The XR4Register at Power Engineering 22nd April 2006

After an early morning alarm call.. yawn... it was time to make tracks to our rolling road day at Power Engineering. Greeted by Fast Ford's Jamie & Co and also the photographer Jon Hill it was set to be a busy day. The weather was certainly a winner as bright sunshine accompanied us all day.

Many thanks to those of you who turned up, and also those who still turned up to support us even though they could not get their XRs running in time, there is always next year guys!. Welcome to Marcus C, Chris B and Gary B for attending their first show with us, also Dojj for bringing his Granada 24v, Caz and her ST170 (who now needs new decals to say + 4!!) and last but not least Pete for bringing his Trevor (TVR) along for a thrash on the rollers.

Jon Hill's camera was clicking away all day trying to catch us out with funny shots and we thought Bhav was bad enough with a camera!!. Sharky willingingly posed for a commical face pulling shot so thats bound to go in the mag just for the embarrassment factor and Mr Anderson is always up for a spot of light entertainment.

The rollers were yet again in full swing and as with every rolling road there is always a few casualties along the way. Big thanks to Chris and Ian from Power Engineering for an enjoyable day, x.

All in all I hope a good day was had by all even if Pablo did have to be recovered, we rekon its because he had one to many shandy's at the pub and Mr Anderson scraped home by the skin of his teeth. Welcome to the world of XRs!.
