Photo Gallery for Ross's 4x4

Ford Sierra XR4x4 2.9

The car was found in my local pub in Knutsford. My original idea was to brake the car for parts and build a P100 4x4 but under more close inspection the car was almost as standard and was too good to brake up.

The car has no seriously major problems bar from a small amount of rust and a few stone chips. One side window had been smashed which i am currently replacing. The interior has been stripped out and the shell is going to be sprayed. The drivers seat just needs a good clean but the side bolsters have saged due to useage. In two minds whether to have it repaired or to put in a pair of Recaro's. For the wheels I am planning to put 16" 5 spoke Mondeo alloys on once finished.

ICE Plans
Im going to have 2 7" monitor screens in the rear of the front head rests, which will have a ten disc DVD multi changer and a childs computer console.

It will also have a stelth parcel shelf housing a pair of 6x9s and also a pair of sub boxes (probably 12") made to measure on each side of the boot. It will also have 3 amps one for each sub and one for the 6x9's.

In the front I will have a double din size head unit with a fold out monitor screen. It will also have a split charge system with a second heavy duty battery hopefully under the bonnet.

With this mad ICE system we are all looking forward to seeing this in real life.
