I bought this XR4i from Colchester on the 18/09/06, it was up for the price of £1495 but in the end I managed to bring him down to £1000 which I thought was a bargain.

The previous owner had the XR4i for 3 1/2 years and said that he had spent over £3000 on her, which when you see the car you will understand. When the previous owner bought the car 3 1/2 years ago it was a bit rough around the edges. He treated her to a full re-spray and two new Ford front wings & a bonnet too, which made it look a lot better. He also told me that there were only 200 grey XR4i's ever made.

He also fitted an RS Cosworth rear diff, rear disc conversion and the Koni's all round. The dash is from a mkII Sierra which is a real shame as I would like to replace it with a mk1 dash but I am having a hard time finding one. The door cards also need replacing due to speaker holes but again are hard to trace. (if you know of any please contact). The dash warning lights seem to come on as and when they like so I need to investigate that but all in all the car is in very good condition.

My XR4i has power steering which was fitted by the previous owner, electric windows & remote central locking which was also fitted previously. It also has a Gamma alarm.

Future Plans: These are to bring the car up to show condition and bring her to some shows. I would also like a stainless steel exhaust and 7 spoke alloys and at present that is it.
