This is my much loved Ford P100 Pick-up. It came up when I was looking for a small project to work on in the evenings and weekends. Much to my supprise it didnt turn out to be a 'small' project !

The car itself started life as is a 1986 P100, orginally white with a 2.0 petrol rear wheel drive 'commercial vehicle', however it has now been completely changed.

First off and most noticeable is the colour. It was painted August '06 and it is 'RAC' Orange ! Its VERY BRIGHT, just ask anyone that has seen it !

Next came the hard work; the 2.0 engine was taken out and binned ! It was replaced with an 80'000 mile 2.9 V6 from an XR4x4, complete with wiring kit, brakes, 4 wheel drive and dash broad.

Suspension: Front- Avo Lowering struts and springs 40mm & Rear - AP Coil overs.

Exhaust: Straight through exhaust with a 3.5" exit, sounds lovely.

Interior: XR4x4 dashboard, steering wheel, clocks & arm rest with Sierra Cosworth Recaro's, Electric windows & mirrors.

Exterior: RAC Orange, 17" Ford RS Alloys, Lowered all round, Cosworth front bumper, grill, side mirrors, clear indicarors, de-locked passenger door, Lid on the back with Spoiler. In the back; just Ford Mats but big plans for next year.

I.C.E: Sony cd head unit with 13cm Pioneer door speakers, tweeters and crossovers, Pioneer 6x9's behind the seats and big plans for inside the back bed.

Performance: 168 bhp, but at 135 mph gets to scary as the pick-up weighs nothing.

Other bits: Flamer kit produces around 7 foot flames, tow-bar (well it is a work horse hahaha), tinted windows (because is orange), lots of chrome under the bonnet.
