The XR4 Register at Fiesta in the Park 15th May 2005

Fiesta in the Park lived up to its reputation for lots of cars, some madly modified and some with outragous colours. A very well organised event and our thanks goes out to Sarah & her crew for the hard work they put in.

Bhav's sundance certainly paid off as you can tell from the photos below. We had blue sky and sun all day which made this a most enjoyable show. Even though a few of us came away a bit on the pink side (Bhav excluded), we soon forgot about this after a few drinks at the pub after the show. Caz needed a few more stiff drinks after experiencing driving the XR8!!.

We had an excellent turn out of XR4s from standard 4is & 4x4s to twin turbo'd & supercharged variety to the odd bit of NOS thrown in for luck. Not forgetting the Merkur XR4Ti and the XR8 which filled our stand nicely. Overall the stand looked the part and seemed to attract a lot of visitors.

Thanks to all who came & special thanks to Paul D, Mr Anderson (said in the 'Matrix' way) also known as Mark & Daz, Sam & Ryan for joining the mad house. Hope to see you all soon.
