New Brakes

As the 4i now has rear discs I thought I would splash out on a full upgrade rather then fit standard bits, so one phone call to Hi-Spec and a melted credit card latter. Before I knew it I had purchased twin pot alloy handbrake calipers, EBC discs/pads and a braided hose kit.

It took them 3 months to get the calipers built but well worth it in the end. With all the brake pipes changed the system has been filled with silicone brake fluid and the brakes are done. At a later date the fronts will me upgraded when bigger wheels are fitted.

Electrics next, and to save space in the engine bay and to help weight distribution, the battery has been moved to behind the passenger seat and now sits in a battery box and all new cable has been fitted.
