I purchased my car from an existing XR4 Register member Brian Powell, who had quite a few mods to it. I bought the car as I thought it was about time to get something that I could attend some car shows with.... and what better car could have been offered to me ?!

The car has had quite a few modifications to it and people may think it's just a cossie look-a-like, but its not. It is really an XR4Ti, with a twist!! Perhaps the previous owners wanted a Cosworth but couldn't get one and so settled for this. Hence the RS500 front bumper, splitter and the Cosworth rear spoiler.

I've owned the car for just over 2 years now and have done a few jobs to the car to make it 'mine'. Simple things like; removing all the graphics from the bodywork and a lot of cleaning!

In 2005 the car was on the rolling road and the Dyno results produced a respectable 166bhp. Not bad for 145 bhp for an auto in standard form. It also produced 175 lb/ft of torque!. The previous owner mentioned that it had a 2.5L crank put in it but I still have to confirm this.

Future Plans
A few engine modifications are in the pipeline as I have collected a range of parts from America and Canada. I would also like the car to have a full respray but it needs a little bit of welding on it first.
