The XR4Register at RS Owners Club National Day

RS National Day at Donington Park was once again with us before we knew it! However, unlike last year, this time round the weather wasn't as nice. The drizzly showers first thing followed by a chilly wind made some of us take cover for our duffel coats. It soon passed and the rest of the day was rain free, however much the clouds threatened.

Compared to last year, there wasn't as many traders or RS cars on display this year, but we all know that the words Rain and RS just don't go together. Some RS's were seen leaving within an hour of the show opening!

But where there are RS's, there are plenty of shiny 'Bling Bling' bits. This is obviously closely followed by Jaffa. This year was no exception, Jaffa soon visited his favourite shiny bits supplier for some more 'Bling' for his car

Al & Pablo were chomping at the bit to get the track car on the Donington track but a fuel leak got their first. The track car went home with its head between its tail. Not content, Al decided to give his GT some stick round the track instead. Pablo went along as a passenger ride (however much Caz pleaded to go) and emerged from the GT looking 'greener' than the Sierra GT !

All in all a good day. Thanks to everyone for turning up. Thanks also to Ralph & the girls for joining us and being a 'mini' XR4 for the day.
