The XR4 Register at Fiesta In The Park held at Wicksteed Park 16th May 2004
Well the weather at this show certainly made up for the last soggy event. We had a lot of interest from those who wanted to come but wasn't sure on the weather! well boys.. look at these pics and WEEP !
Green Grass, Blue skies, Golden Sun, Fluffy Clouds and Smoke signals ! Yep it was deffo BARBY weather!
All those that turned up certainly enjoyed themselves looking at all the various ways that a Fiesta or Ka can be made to look outrageous ! It was not all Fiesta's in the Park, there was STACKS of Fords to see from bog Fiesta 950 to totally mental V8 powered XR4i not to mention a really 'smart' Smart Roadster, courtesy of Dave & Caz!
If that wasn't enough to tempt u, then the amusement park was a larf as u could walk quicker than the Go-Karts (Caz was looking forward to a re-match with Pikey but his nerves obviously got the better of him) and the Mini Roller Coaster is always a Hoot!
All this with a last min dot com Barby arranged by JB, with drinks & snacks provided by BT certainly made it a very nice day indeed!
Once again thanks to those who turned up and John for sorting the BBQ out.
