Social Event
What a night.....
Music is usually a must at an engagement party so we thought Pete & Lisa had other ideas or perhaps they did parties differently in Leicester..... but no... the DJ had not arrived and panic had set in. We saw an angry side to Lisa which scared us all!.
We're not sure if the DJ survived the evening with all his limbs intact but
he didn't dare stop playing until Lisa gave him the nod. Never take DJ advise
from Mr Anderson. He's a cheeky chappy who was very lucky that everyone
didn't gang up and beat the living daylights out of him after his evenings
antics!.......... we love ya really.
A good night was had by all but then came the hard task of walking back to
Pete & Lisa's, which did take a lot longer than getting there first time
round. This could possibly be due to Mr Anderson being a bad influence on everyone & up to his usual tricks of chucking people into various bushes which Pete has the marks to prove this, Caz also has a few scratches on her arm to back him up with!. The worse thing is that he woke up the next morning feeling no worse for wear... there's no justice in the world at times!!. Don't worry, the XR4 Register has its own kind of justice, you are a marked man Mr Anderson!
Pete was always primed with two glasses of spirits throughout the evening so
was somewhat reluctant to get up the next morning for the 'Sporting Escorts
Car Show' but dedication kicked in (or Lisa kicked him) and he managed it!
Once again, Congratulations to Pete & Lisa on your Engagement. We know you will both be very happy. Thanks for inviting us all.
