This year Central are moving the show up a gear and 'Central Weekend' will now take place on both the Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April. This is in response to those of you that have to travel a long distance to get to the show and those of you that want to run your cars up the strip and also display them on club stands. The Saturday will be an open 'Run Wot Ya Brung' day with race tickets being £20 for an unlimited number of runs. Traders who wish to trade on the Saturday will be available from late morning.

Your two day gate ticket for Saturday and Sunday will include the fee to camp overnight at Santa Pod. The management of Santa Pod have agreed to open the bar on Saturday evening and provide some food stalls. They have also said the fair ground rides will be in operation weather permitting.

The gates will open at 8am (not before) on the Sunday for Groups to get onto their stands. Only cars displaying the Group Pass will be allowed to the show side of the track, so dont forget your pass, or try to blag it on the day. Santa Pod security will be in charge of who can and who cannot get to the show side of the track.

This year Central will be putting up some prizes for the fastest Ford cars on the Sunday in association with Fast Ford magazine. There will be three prizes of £250 each for the fastest Ford RWD, FWD and 4WD car up the strip on the day. Fast Ford will be presenting a cup for each category for the winner to hold for the year. Cars trying for the prizes must have a current tax disk and have nothing non-road legal (such as slick tyres) on them when they perform their runs.
